Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to some of the common questions about ShipHazmat, its features and how it can benefit your business.

Which pricing plan is best for me?

Our pricing plans are designed for frequent and infrequent shippers of dangerous goods. If you ship more than five (5) line items on a dangerous goods declaration per month, then the annual membership may be ideal for you. If you're just an occasional shipper of dangerous goods, then the "per click" pay-as-you-go approach may be better.
Note: Many features available in annual membership subscriptions are not available in the "per click" accounts.

What does "per click" mean?

"Per click" is a term used to describe the pay-as-you-go basis method of using ShipHazmat online. Users purchase credits in advance that are deducted each time a dangerous goods declaration is marked as complete. Each credit is equivalent to a single line item on the declaration.

No downloads or installations are required to begin using ShipHazmat online. However, we do provide HTML-based alternative printing methods that do not require any downloads or installations for those with restrictive browser permission settings.

Do my hazmat employees still need hazmat training?

Yes. While ShipHazmat does incorporate built-in regulatory logic for creating compliant dangerous goods declarations, it is not a substitute nor satisfies the required training regulations for transporting dangerous goods by IATA and any respective national authority.
